  8. Hugo is a system for designing, programming, and running
  9. sophisticated interactive fiction, or text adventures.  It is the
  10. result of an attempt to further extend the concepts developed in 
  11. earlier, similar systems in order to make interactive fiction
  12. programming less cryptic and more accessible to designers.  Hugo 
  13. owes much to the original Infocom format (particularly with
  14. regard to its internal data tables) as well as to Graham Nelson's
  15. publicly distributed Inform compiler (and its excellent grammar
  16. definition and programming style).

  18. The MS-DOS version was written by Kent Tessman, and this Amiga 
  19. version by David Kinder.
